lol lets not be too harsh neither should we be desperate to see anything positive when there was non, except maybe helping out Grosso at times. Was pretty meh/average 45 mins, lazy and undecisive with possession as he can be, but as Suns said, should be given more time. Dont blame Conte for subbing him out (Pepe had 2-3 really good moves/attacks when he came on), even if the rest of the team sucked too, Elia is the new untested element to take out first more then someone like Krasic.

Don't see how anyone rates his performance today. He has a worse touch than Iaquinta. Didn't do anything positive of note.
Well, to be fair, he did get past his man once and drew a foul, and also put in a decent cross towards the end of the first half. He was growing into the game towards the end. His sub surprised me.

But he did have fewer touches of the ball than Giaccherini did against Parma. Plus most of the time he did get it, he sprinted forward, and passed it back to the midfield. But unlike you Giaccherini haters, I'm not gonna crucify Elia for a mediocre outing.

Agreed with all of this. Didn't see the confidence to really attack at times, even if he didn't make bad decisions. At least off the ball he looked good in helping out defensively all over the pitch.

wasnt good but not entirely horrific. I'd see how he fares with more time on the pitch. agreed though that towards the end of the first half I thought he was getting more settled in and unlike some of the players managed to get past catania players hacking

He looked completely lost, it was obvious he is neither used to the team nor the system they play and above all is totally foreign to the league. I will hold my judgement until he gets more playing time.
