I think it was good to see just players generally running and being even slightly useful on the left hand side of the pitch...as I'm sure Krasic was also glad to see this.

That's all you can do? Stats?

I was gonna respond but when i saw the black fapping thing i was like grow up and mature for a change.
I've stopped bothering, he's clearly trolling Patrick. Have you read his comments in the Notts' game thread? Laugable from someone who tells others to grow up.

Had a decent game, nothing special though, but you can't really expect players to go all out in a game like that. Didn't get as many balls as he would've liked but didn't lose possession often, unless he ran the ball out of play. :D

He's been travelling all week and has spent 1 day in Turin before this game.. it'll only get better. I hope, and think, he'll perform for us. Atleast some people were able to see he's rather skillful on the ball and doesn't have that heavy first touch Pepe or Krasic have.

Maybe if he'd scored and got an assist it wouldn't have looked too average. Haven't really watched Elia much so I was slightly surprised at his ball control being better than I expected.
Why don't you just listen to me anymore, Salva?

I wasn't impressed by all the pace and dribbling... but when he crossed that perfect ball to Pepe, I started to trust him.

:p

He's really fast and has a really good touch. The 'problems' Elia has are his selfishness and generally rather poor'ish vision, although the longer he spends with our NT the better he seems to fit in and make better decisions. Let's hope Juve can make him show his full potential.

He needs some guidance and confidence.

 At least it is a better environment for guidance.

I like that we're going to have Pirlo, that assist he gave for the national team was set up by Sneijder passing to him, can see our guy doing that.

the cross elia gave in first half was amazing too
he don't know yet that it makes no sense to give a cross at pepe ( if there was an other player instead of pepe, we had scored a goal.)

i wasn't all that impressed with elia, his reading for potential off ball runs were poor, when matri had slipped a nice through ball for elia, he stood there and made the run late. estigaribia looked more lively and linked up better.

I liked his crossing to the back post, something Krasic can exploit hopefully. I really hope they can compliment each other.
His judgement was also very good, knew when to pass and knew when to run.

The only thing giovinco can compared to elia, is giving a good freekick.

elia is superior in anything else.

what they have in commen, is a wrong attitude.

at least elia proved something tho, giovino bitched while he had proven nothing yet

we hould stop talking about giovino untill he got the phonecall
Is the Giovinco comparing ever going to end?!
Giovinco is a very talented player. His problem is that he is a small player and not the strongest as well. For a small weak player it is almost impossible to play in Serie A let alone the big clubs.
That is why he didnt get many chances with us and that is why he is at Parma.
With the current physique Giovinco will never fullfill his potential and therefore won`t be back here as a starter.
    Elia is a different player.
Better than Giovinco?! I dont know how to answer it but I`d say he is better for us!
IMO our best signings were Elia and Lichtsteiner as those were our weakest links from last year
Other weakest links are CB and LB too bad we did nothing to strengthen those positions. Hope it wont hunt us...
