sanchez is more versatile, younger, better, faster, better skilled...but he ain't the finisher that pedro is
Not sure he's better right now, maybe in 6 month like you said. Pedro also is so versatile can play on either flanks play with both so well that you can't tell he's a natural right footed. I think it will be a fierce competition between the two. And don't forget that Pedro is a product of la Mesilla and that's huge advantage for him.

yes, la masia football school educates the players after barca's tiki taka way of play, but as you saw when he played against real in the 1st leg, sanchez was awesome and looked like he's playing there for years.

If Marchisio starts instead of Vidal it can be only because:

1. Vidal is injuried
2. Vidal is merciful and decided that Marchisio needs something to do
Pretty much, yeah.

I want Pedro. :shifty: And Pedro will still play, he's very underrated, very good player.
I think Pedro would flop at any club that's not Barcelona.

He's kinda limited, benefiting from their play and other players.

Elia: I snubbed Premier League for Juve

Juventus winger Eljero Elia has revealed there was interest in him from Arsenal and a number of Premier League clubs before he chose to move to the Bianconeri.

Elia, 24, had grown dissatisfied of life at Hamburg but rejected the possibility of a move to Galatasaray, as well as a host of clubs from England, in order to take up a new challenge in Serie A.

The Netherlands winger revealed he was advised by Oranje coach Bert van Marwijk to move to the Premier League and warned against a switch to Galatasaray.

"My agent did have contact with Arsenal, but it took too long. I had no contact with Arsene Wenger," Elia told www.onsoranje.nl. Wigan, Everton, Fulham and Newcastle had fairly concrete interest.''

On the interest from Gala, he added: "Financially, it was a good option. I asked the coach what he thought of the idea of me playing in Turkey. He said I would be out of the view of the scouts.

"I value his opinion. The Dutch team is very important to me. That's partly why I chose Juventus, to get high-level play. He told me to go to England, but Italy was good too.''

Elia revealed he would be following in the footsteps of some of his childhood heroes by playing for Juve.

"I used to have a Del Piero shirt,'' he said. "I was also a big fan of Fabrizio Ravanelli. It's great to play with a legend like Del Piero.''

I'm not talking about the chemistry, Sanchez looked like he clicked right away with the rest of the teams, but i'm talking about the socios pressure, I don't see them happy with Pedro not playing, he's a son of the club, highly rated by them and Guardiola. I see it as a similar to the Yaya/Busquets situation when Yaya was clearly the better player at the time but he couldn't find a place in the team because Busquets was preferd to him at was admitted by Yaya as the main reason why he left.

I don't Know about that he got all the tools and skills to be a good winger for any team, amazing finisher, movement off the ball is incredible, nice one on one player, can shoot and play with both feet excptionally well.

Its a bit early to judge whether this 4-4-2 is a failure. The only reason everyone hates the 4-4-2 is because Man U and Barca use the 4-3-3 but their squads are 100 times better than ours.
Well the reason I hate it is because it's stagnant, the strikers don't move, and only has 3 lines of play which doesn't cut it nowadays.

I doubt all this is true. He said what he said and no new words will change this. But good work by his PR manager .
I don't know. He seemed very against those words.

The german media is starving for attention, I wouldn't pass it by them to make up bullshit like that.

Just to throw this out there, Momo Sissoko iirc also said something like Liverpool is bigger than Juventus back when we we're negotiating with him, but that didn't stop him from giving his all to this shirt. Also, a lot of us, myself included, loved him and still do.

The same goes for Elia. Whether he said those things or not, which I think he did, it doesn't matter now. He's a Juventus player.

Elia, good luck and please don't flop.

dusan is tripping..he didn't saw the player in another shirt so it's useless to comment

This signing is risky but still something that I think this team needed. We so lacked a player like Elia.
