Yes. Verratti has almost similar value to Pogba. Would easily say he's worth atleast 80m and Cavani is somewhere around 40m-50m.
I don't see it, but we can agree to disagree. I certainly don't think that a want away striker who will be 30 next season is in the 50 million range, to be honest.

And as good as Verratti is, he is way behind in name recognition and star power that Pogba is.

Because I think a lot has to be said with the financial backing that PSG has, and for one reason or another, are a more well known product than Juve are.

Plus, one can't discount what a french player playing for the best french team would mean in tying everything together in the perfect marketing package.

Think about it this way. When one mentions Juve, it is usually always Del Piero or Gigi. That's not disrespectful to others, but Italian team= Italian Icons
Would you see a possibility to establish Verratti like that? Does he have the star power to become the face of our brand? I love Marchisio and Bonucci and even Rugani but I don't see them as being players that 10 year olds in Asia will have on their bedroom wall. Maybe Berardi could be that person but that remains to be seen.

Fair enough. In terms of ability Verratti and Pogba are on similar level so it does come down to marketability and that's why I rated Verratti 20m less than Pogba.

Absolutely.

Remember this. Hardcore calcio fans knew about Pirlo since 2005. But when did Pirlo become "PIRLO!!!!!"

During his time with us.

I dont understand why people underrate virratti.

Do you guys watching his games or do you know how old is he.

Verratti worse for psg as much as pogba for us, the only deffernce is we market pogba more than they do cuz they dont want to sell him.

You want to sell your product, invest in marketing.

I think Veratti would have the same marketing image in Italy FOR Italy that Pogba would have in France FOR France.

No one is underrating Verratti. I have no idea where you got that from. If you think that I am, then I suggest you check out his transfer thread to see how furious I was when we didn't sign him.

In my opinion, Pogba's best is better than Verratti's best. But that is like saying a Ferrari is better than an Aston Martin. It doesn't mean that the Aston Martin is shit.

However, if you ask any casual football fan to name the top players, Pogba's name is far more frequently mentioned than Verratti's, and that is no accident. Which is why when I say that I am hesitant to include any cash in a deal, it's because of that.

And for what it's worth.

Verratti is actually older than Pogba

Could you imagine those two in the same team? In their prime? Wow...

Yeah, I know. I don't want to travel that road again :D

I understand that it was an expensive investment at the time, but if someone like Ancellotti personally asks for him, when he could have anyone at his disposal with the money afforded him at the time, it makes you have to take a step back and think.

Miss understanded by my side :D thanks for clarifiction
Still i dont think he will be sold for less than 80m

Older by four months, not a big deal
No problem.

But you did say "look at his age"

And I did :D So I was left thinking "what was the point of that"?

yeh, we should not sacrifice pogba to buy cavani or verrati. The idea is to strenghten the team with what we already have. Even bringing both cavani and verrato at the expense of Pogba looks wrong. We should complement Pogba, not trade him and start from zero again.
