Juve negotiate for Cavani?
By Football Italia staff

Juventus will look to bolster next season’s squad with the arrival of Edinson Cavani, according to reports.

The Bianconeri reached the Champions League final last night for the first time in 12 years, but it appears they are not resting on their laurels.

Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that the Old Lady are negotiating for Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, with a view to a summer transfer.

The site believes that the two parties have been in regular contact over the past few days, and Juve expect to reach a contract agreement with the player next week.

The Serie A champions would then have to negotiate a fee with PSG, who would be unlikely to let Cavani go cheaply.

If we sell Llorente/Ogbonna for 12m/8m I think this could actually happen.

Jesus. Dybala and Cavani in one window BEFORE the window even opens.

Exactly, I'd love Cavani but I'd be afraid of it stalling Morata's growth, I'd much rather get Van Persie or Falcao for cheaper who'd accept a rotation role.

How about this

We have all 4, and we try (probably successfully) to fit 3 of them in most league games and if it works most CL games.

Cavani plays, Tevez plays, Morata plays and Dybala if he does well learns to play at Juve and takes over from Tevez who leaves next Summer.

So 1 year of Dybala growing as a player, and the other 3 being heavily involved in our campaign. Then Tevez makes way for Dybala.

Valencia join Cavani chase
By Football Espana staff

Valencia have emerged as surprise contenders for the signature of Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani.

The Uruguayan international has been linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes this summer, with reports in England suggesting that Manchester United and Arsenal will go head-to-head in a bid to bring him to the Premier League.

However, French newspapers have it that Valencia, backed my billionaire owner Peter Lim, are set to pull out all the stops to make the 28-year-old their marquee summer signing.

PSG are understood to be willing to listen to offers for former Napoli star Cavani as they line up a swoop for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, while at the same time trying to ensure they keep within UEFA’s Financial Fair Play guidelines.

United and Arsenal are long-term admirers of Cavani and Atletico Madrid are also believed to be keen, although the English clubs’ biggest rivals could now be Los Che.

You think those guys would accept a rotation role? I really don't think so...
Neither would accept that. Or Falcao's mother.

Yes, that sounds realistic. We also have to factor in suspensions, injuries and international commitments.

That said, something in my water tells me Morata may be on his way out this Summer to fund the Cavani signing.

we won't get Cavani guys. as much as i would love to have him here. but he is too expensive and i can't imagine we spend 60m or even 70m on 2 players. i may be wrong but it is just sounds so utopian to me.
