I think its worth the investment.

On defense we are okaish if we bring Rugani back. Our winbacks is the other real issue so Darmian if possible, would be epic. We need to remember that we have Asa and Caceres in case of depth.

On midfield we are stocked, we can even pass on an AM because of Peryra..who is no a world beater but gets the job done and we will buy him most likely. Bringing someone to bench Pereyra is IMO not using our money in optimal ways.

Our Forward line is where we are thin. Not weak, but thin. Apaert from Tevez and Morata (and morata is not even the finished product), we dont have anyone else. If we really want to compete on all 3 fronts with a continuous flow of goals..We need someone like Cavani. At the end of his contract with us he will not have resale value... but we are paying for a chance to win trophies, not to make money from his sale.

Cavani and Morata rotating with Tevez would be surreal. Morata can even play instead of Tevez when the latter would be in need of some rest, our play instead of Cavani as CF. The 3 of them would get a healthy amount of playtime. Get 2 more dudes who will be willing to ride the bench but reliable enought when coming in, and we are set.

Oh, and if we do sell Pogba we would still have a strong midfield but I can see Beppe reinforcing it further post-pogba.


If we are getting Dybala from our own means (meaning NOT from Pogba sale)...and we get Cavani from the sale of Pogba...lets say 100m...we have plenty to invest further. I'd love somehow IF we sell Pogba (which I don't want @zizinho) that Marotta gets them to insert Verratti in the deal. That would give us a insane midfield with an insane attack.
