Either Cavani or Higuain I'd be happy with. Problem with Cavani is he is part of Napoli although and glorified Provincial team Napoli fans embrace, love and have passion for all their players especially their stars and I don't see Cavani leaving Napoli for Juve,a direct rival (only in Napolis eyes) I may be wrong but I jus don't think he'll move anywhere else in Italy. Hope I'm wrong though.

I would wait for the leagues to finish first before making any kind of deals with Napoli. If Jose Mourinho loses La Liga and CL he is gone and Real Madrid will have a garage sale. Even if we don't buy their players we can damn sure use them as leverage.
If we can get Higuain for 35m, Cavani has to be LESS.

More chance of Mourinho leaving if he actually wins it. The guy is after his own personal glory and record breaking. Winning the league in England, Italy and Spain is his motivation. Winning a CL with a third team too, but that need not be a Spanish team.

So you rate Higuain higher than Cavani?

Hard to say my man. Both are fantastic, but based on their record and current status Higuain is the 'better one'.
I personally think La Liga is glorified beyond belief and a 20+ goal forward there wouldn't be a 20+ goal forward in Italy, but I can't tell the exact ratio. Anyway Napoli aren't selling Maradona and there is a chance he might flop in another team (or not be that good as some pointed out) and the price has to mitigate that risk somehow.
On the other side Higuain is clearly 2nd choice these days, but Real being Real it just doesn't say anything. Not to mention he has (like Torres) the president behind his back trying to stick something into his anus which isn't exactly the support one would hope for, just because he was brought by another president unlike his competitor for the spot. His form should have dropped a long time ago...

I know there is no reason for Cavani to be more expensive than Gonzalo. That is for sure.

I think Cavani is just as good if not better than Higuan in every facet of being a forward AND he would be better suited to our style of play.
