Dude... the Uruguay NT system proved that they could win the Copa America with Cavani as Forlan's and Suarez's bench-warming waterboy. And you know, part of Tabarez's genius was in benching Cavani instead of trying to fit him in the lineup, as he floundered too often.

So what's Curva's track record like anyway?

I remember his name coming up a lot last summer mercato, but what has his hit rate been like?

Because it's such an insult to get benched by Forlan and Suarez?
It does suggest that there are systems where Forlan and Suarez are preferred starters over him.

Systems where Cavani has proven himself to be the South American Ibrahimovic when it comes to underachieving at international play.

Almost 90% last summer, only mistake was the Bruno Alves deal but he later explained why and it the report came that Bonnucci refused the deal.

He called Conte, Pirlo, Vidal, Vucinic, Elia, Licht......And was saying all along that we pulled from the Aguero deal early in the summer.

He's very reliable and sourcefull Guru.

I can also add that Curva predicted Caceres and Borriello during winter window. Some may think it was easy due to a lot of rumours about these players, but there was a period when many pointed out on Guarin as our winter purchase.

Anyway, It's nothing settled yet. We are just interested. It doesnt mean we got him. But, in fact, it could happen ;)

I think it's going to be Giovinco.
Yeah, that seems likely.

Cavani would be an incredible acquisition, but I do have concerns about how he would play in a rather narrow 4-3-3. In that respect, Suarez would seem to fit into our formation better.

Suarez? I rate him high but we need a poacher more than everything, we create tons of chances already what we are lacking is someone to finish them.
