I rarely, better to say never seen Eurosport's confirmed transfers were only rumors, so it's done in case anyone's is still dreaming..

Close this thread, bury it and bury city fans too, enough city bullshits already..
It's done deal imo, but this particular article only says that a fee has been agreed between City and Wolfsburg i.e that Wolfsburg agreed to sell him for certain amount offered by City. Now it's Dzeko's turn to find an agreement with City (if it isn't done already).
Still, Wolfsburg could agree and accept a fee from another club too if an offer comes.

416M EURO... imagine if someone with a brain could use that money :lol:
With Chelsea it was at least different. They had their own good players before Roman took over and right from the start they started making good results (CL semifinal followed by 2 EPL trophies etc). City are not only completely artificial but they are on a good course to spend their third year after the money came, without winning a trophy.

Kompany only 6, he'll have to cost much more now if a team is interested in him.

But they surely thrown away a lot of money on others.

2008 ----- £122.35 million
- Robinho £32.5 -> How much did AC Milan pay for him?
- Jô £18m -> If they'll get 5 in return, it will be the maximum I guess
- Nigel de Jong £16m -> lot of money but he plays often and does good so fair enough
- Craig Bellamy £14m -> :lol:
- Wayne Bridge £10m -> too much, he will leave for much less then that
- Shaun Wright-Phillips £8.5m -> Looks like an OK deal considering the playing time and the return in investment
- Pablo Zabaleta £6.45 -> Looks like an OK deal considering the playing time and the return in investment
- Vincent Kompany £6m -> Cheap, very cheap but he was a risk back then
- Shay Given £5.9m -> Good deal, was a starter in 2008-2009, now Hart took over
- Tal Ben Haim £5m -> Don't think he played much for them so waste of money

2009 ----- + £118.5 million
- Carlos Tévez £25.5m -> OK deal, he plays every match, is the captain and scores plenty, well worth the money but sadly for the city fans, he wants out again
- Emmanuel Adebayor £25m -> Talk about over paying a player, this is the best example
- Joleon Lescott £22m -> Ok, togheter with this one
- Roque Santa Cruz £18m -> And this one
- Kolo Touré £16m -> good defender, plays regulary, maybe a few million too much but still
- Gareth Barry £12m -> Good buy.
- Adam Johnson undisclosed ->?

2010 ----- £116 million
- Mario Balotelli £24m
- David Silva £24m
- Yaya Touré £24m
- James Milner £18m
- Aleksandar Kolarov £16m
- Jérôme Boateng £10m

On the 2010 players, the verdict is still out IMO
