Dzeko > Lloriente every day of the week and twice on most of them. One is 27, not a regular on his NT and only played in one league. The other is 26 (huge difference, i know right?) regular on his NT - mind you he almost carried them to the EC on his own - and has been playing on much higher levels in two leagues which are much harder to succeed in than La Liga.

I'd love me some Lloriente, but Dzeko is an elite striker.
Well sea of names I agree :D

Lol, Bundesliga is much harder to succeed at then La Liga now? And dont talk about it having better defence, Bundesliga has highest goal average of main European leagues, and its not because they are swelling with best attack talents in the continent.

True, very true on the first part. And yes, on the economic part as well.

But...a BIG BUTT...do we invest more in Dzeko, whom I believe can score more goals in "this" team and also I think we would be more successful in CL with him as well...possibly taking us further in that competition ergo making more money paying for the higher investment in the striker chosen. :D
I love big butts and I cannot lie :nico:

Dzeko is not an elite player. The reason Llorente doesn't play for Spain that much is because he has competition from Torres, Villa, etc. Him simply making the team is an accomplishment by itself.

But... But..... Dzeko is a World Class striker. He's much better than Llorente, and at the same level as Cavani, Higuain, Falcao, and RVP :howler:

Dzeko on a loan with obligation to buy along with Jovetic would definitely be an awesome end to the Mercato :D

 :andyandbarcelona: Jovetic has a lot more potential than Dzeko, and he's also younger. Jovetic could be one of the best support strikers in 2 years, and a World Class player. Dzeko is a very good forward, but he isn't an elite player, as some here are claiming.
Yeah, he could be.

He will be :D

I'm quite confident, and believe in JoJo

I honestly think we should've sacrificed Gio for him (cue proponents of 15G11A and he had an amazing season @ Parma; he was better than JoJo last year :blah: :blah: :blah:)

He is a world class striker, he is much better than Llorente, he's not quite on the same level as the four you're mentioning but it's not far off either. If I remember correctly he had the most goals per minute in the EPL last season - that's gotta count for something eh?

I'm not arguing who would score more, but who is going to be the better, more complete player in 2 years.
So? Our needs right now are more important than those in 2 years.

Stats :sergio: Rus is obsessed with them; you can't base judgement on stats :wallbang:

I never said Dzeko wasn't a very good player, but he is most definitely not a World Class striker ;)
This discussion is pointless.

I know. I'm not saying he won't be more useful than JoJo now.

You are pointless :p I still  you though. I would be happy with Dzeko, but I have a soft spot for Jovetic.
