Conte sent him out as soon as he got here last time. I don't see why he'd have changed his mind about him now. Ziegler is nothing but average. Armero as a LWB is a far better option.

when we were originally linked with Dzeko, I spoke about how I though it would be a risk if we spent 30-40 million on him, all things considered...

A few people on here were mocking me, saying the boy was world class and would be a fantastic signing. I'm glad we never signed him and my doubts about him haven't changed since his time at City.

I don't think he's a bad player. He's a good squad player for City and has scored goals but I wouldn't like us to spend too much money on this guy and he doesn't have the quality required to really push us to the next level.

Neither fill me with confidence. I wouldn't mind us having a player like Dzeko in our squad but I wouldn't want us to pay big money for him and then have the expectation that he's going to lift us to the next level.

Pazzini isn't a great option, plus he's been tainted

I have the belief that we'd be better signing nobody instead of panic buying (like we've done so often lately) save the money for someone who's right.
