I don't know Sergio, I like the Giovinco signing, he will be very usefull, but my only fear that we won't be able to sign a WC striker, and then we will regret all this sums we used on rotation players.

No ??
Let me ask you a question in regards to Giovinco.

How many 25 year old forwards out there who scored 15 goals and 11 assists would have been available for 11 million?

And that 11 million is not including the 3 million already received by Parma ahead of time

All I know is that Destro is not a Champion -- he's a promising striker, but not what we essentially need up front.

Look, even Marrotta has stated that we are just missing the top-class quality finisher up front. A champion up front. Can Juventus pay 30-40m for a top-class player right now -- absolutely. Marrotta has been clear that we are after a champion, and he is no idiot and well aware that World Class players nowadays cost in that range.

I don't think people here are saying 'we won the scudetto and now we can get whoever we want' like we're out of our heads. But it's been 6 years, and our beloved ADP is not returning next season, and we are long over-due an impressive signing that states not only are Juve a hard-working and never-say-die side... but also an elite club in Europe. That's our history. That's our legacy.

We're just going by the words of Marrotta, and what has come out of his mouth -- and he has repeatedly said, for at least six months, and up until a day ago, that Juventus are looking to buy a Champion this summer. And there's no doubt that it's about time, and it's the perfect time. Marrotta said we are getting a Champion, so we expect him to live up to his word. Nothing wrong with that. Obviously, it's easier said than done. But I'm confident Juve has the funds to do it, and I know Marrotta will try.

The question is who is willing to come? I guess we'll find out.

None i guess, i'm not hating on Giovinco transfer, i think it's our best deal yet in the market, i'm talking about the 15 mil we used on Isla, The 11/12 we are ready to use on Destro..The 5 mil we used on Padoin, the 7,5 mil we used to buy Giaccherini;;;
That's 25/30 mil right there we could use to sign a WC striker.

For the right money, every player would like to play for Juventus.

I will not complain about Isla and Giach deals as they can provide great coverage for the next season when we play in 3 championships. About Padoin, I also dont understand why did we buy him at the first place, but he has the potential to be sold anyway.

I believe we have the money if its just for 25/30 mil, but the question is whether we will accept the salary demanded by the top striker.

Patience my friend. Have some Pazienza. The market hasn't even officially started yet, and at last glance, there have not been very many moves for top class strikers made anywhere.

I don't trust Marotta to be honest, after last summer soap opera, and how he said all the champions are ready to sign for juve and how he failed to sign a CB and he was ready to sing Andreoli if not the transfer market registration time has expired :sergio:

I don't want to relive that misery, thank god we have Conte.

The market is waiting for the first big striker to be purchased than the dominos will fall I think

I hear ya on this. Like I said, we have the funds. The hardest part is to convince a champion to come to Juve.

Easy question,

Would you guys rather sign Giovinco/Isla/Destro/Giaccherini..or Cavani/RVP/Dzeko knowing that if you add the fee of all this transfers it's around 35/40 mil, more than enough to sign a WC striker ??

I'll watch the game now :D

Are you stupid ??

A blind can see that we need a WC striker, Marotta admitted that, AA admitted that. Guess you know the team better than them too ??

You agenda is clear, Destro is average and can't lead our attack, neither can someone like Balotelli do, you know who can ?? RVP who you have been ripping.

How much Padoin, Esti, Elia, Krasic, Isla, Giovino are eating from our wage budget, factor that with a 5 mil we were willin to offer to the WC striker and we could compete with any team, our problem is our stocking useless player who aren't need when we should go and sign a star who could give us 5 time the production of those players

Even if it's highly debateable that there's isn't a top striker available this summer, we could also sign a highly rated promising striker, Giroud/Lewandowski/Damiao...
I'm not stupid I deal in reality not football manager

That isn't even a logical question because you wouldnt sign the later three together you would only sign one if that. The previous three mentioned were needed for depth
