I dont like him, but leets not base him on two games.

It's just a suspicion that is starting to build.

Anyway, I'm not a big fan of his.

His chance conversion rate isn't particularly good, so he may well get found out if he wasn't playing for a team that makes zillions of chances.

He also doesn't really offer anything beyond pure poaching.

That's fine with me, but if you do nothing else you must have a good chance conversions rate (Trezeguet, Inzaghi, etc.)

Scott Parker won the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year for 2010-2011.

Do you really think that he was the best player in the EPL that season? Not even close.
You're not allowed to call him Scott Parker.

It's an unwritten rule that he must be referred to as Scotty Parker (Paaarkaaaaa, for the Cockneys/Mockneys).

I think you will find it really hard to find anyone in Germany who had a better season then Lewandowski.

22 goals with 0 penalty shots. Around 10 assists. Winning goal against Bayern that gave Borussia the championship. 3 goals in German Cup final against Bayern. It wasn't some kind of undeserved award.

Thats by the media or whatever it is, not official.

Leets not be like the Barca fans, leets accept whats official. I hate hearing Barca fans still thinking they're Europe's best team, because they have a better squad than Chelsea and everything, But Chelsea won CHL, so they're official Europe's best.

Don't agree with that line of argument at all in cup competitions.

The team that wins the league can claim to be the best in their country (which means Barca should shut up) but cup competitions are too unpredictable.

Chelsea are champions of Europe but, given that they aren't even close to being the best team in England, they can't legitimately claim to be the best team in Europe.

I've always thought if we are unable to acquire big names in the market ,we should try to sign under the radar kind of players.

I would gladly pay 25m+ and 7m odd wages for someone like Van Persie cuz he's absolute world class and the best in his position ,i wouldnt even think twice.

Now if we are going to do the same for someone like Dzeko(paying 25m+ and obscene wages) who i dont consider world class ,i'd totally back out of that.I'd rather pay less with less wages for players such as Giroud/Lewa who would prove to be absolute value for money buys.

At first this Hustini's dude love for Dzeko seemed cute ,now its getting rather annoying :D I see people getting influenced by his opinion on Dzeko :p

Kicker is usually very good though.Germans are not as delusional as the Englishmen.

Ribery had a blinder of a season ,he would have been very close to winning it had Bayern won the title.

Kagawa would've on it had he been available in the first half of the campaign but unfortunately he wasnt.

Now these are the only two candidates in my opinion who could've rivaled Lewa for this accolade(Maybe you can add Reus in the mix too but somewhat faded away in the second half of the campaign).Robert was consistent pretty much entire year and popped up in crucial occasions when it mattered most scoring in the Ruhr Derby as well as the title winning goal against Bayern. Not to mention he would've been Bundesliga top scorer had he taken spot kicks like Huntelaar who ended up being top scorer(with 9 penalties i believe). Its not just his scoring but his all round play his work ethic i believe has won him this award and it seemed to be fair in the end.

Ability wise he doesnt come close to some of the talents in Bundesliga on an individualistic basis but perfomance wise i thought he deserved that accolade.

Hustininki is indeed a lovable character; however, his views on football and football players are about as reliable as those English pundits on Sky. Absolute garbage and full of shit. Sorry :hustini: :p

So now I'm an idiot because I like Dzeko and think it makes more sense for the club to spend less on him than over 40m on one single player?

Lol thank god someone you doesnt run this club, we would be bankrupt.

And I doubt I influenced anyone's decision on Dzeko. These are the same peeps that really wanted him here in the first place, before he went to City.

Dzeko would come at the same cost and wages as Van Persie..Just saying.

And RVP is twice the player Dzeko is.

I don't doubt you on the comparison at all (AT ALL!).

But...I think RVP will still cost more and we don't know if Dzeko wouldnt take a pay cut either.

Look, if I could choose 1 striker out of all of these if money was no object it Wouldn't be Dzeko. But since we are on a budget I think financially it makes sense so we don't blow our entire budget on one player and fail to reenforce elsewhere:)

Dzeko would cost 25m+ plus obscene wages..How in the hell is it a financially viable option ?You must be out of your mind and i doubt us spending on another forward if we get Dzeko.City dont need the money.they'll ask as much as possible.

No wonder Milan failed in their bid for tevez.

RVP one of the best players in the world would cost pretty much the same fee though wages would be on the higher side..
