Cronios currency
after rough calculations of the Amauri and DP salary, it was repeatdly reported that a 4.5mil salary turns about 9mil after taxes in Italy.
Whilst in Spain its a totally different story, i dont about the EPL though. Alen might sed some light if he has the time.
Platini's rules have imposed a gradual salary cap on the spending of the clubs, after the expeditures and profits.
We are very careful to comply with those rules and there was a noticable change in our transfer strategy because of that, i doubt that we will ruin it all for one transfer...

However, if we are to make just one exception, that would be the star striker, they are ussually the highest earners anyway.

Be realistic, there is no way he would accept a bigger salary cut than 50% and thats 10mil/season after taxes, it aint happening, Marotta was signed exactly for that, to reduce wages, we are throwing DP himself to the garbage can because of that.
It is a priority for our management...
He was earning 1M a year. what are you talking about!
