    RAI International is different than RAI UNO DUE or TRE. afaik RAI in Italy can't show these games. RAI Int. can show them to people outside Europe.

    good news and maybe not-so -good news, Marco

    good news- another woman in that office named Marina IS a Juve fan...and she was very plesant ("I have black and white all around me" she said !!)

    not so good news- they have received NO official word that they will show the Juve game....it may have been put on the schedule in Rome, but she has received no official word yet....PLUS she hasnt heard if RAI will carry ANY Serie B games this season


    I told you I didnt believe it !!!

    I have a stream for Sportitalia. This website www.overseatv.com, gives you 8 italian channels (Rai Uno, Rai Due, Rai Tre, Canale 5, Italia Uno, SPORTITALIA, and Rete 4). You have to pay 19.95 a month to receive all of these cahnnels. Even if you want one channel, you still have to get the pacakge. You can even get a top box and watch it on your TV. Sportitalia has the rights to the friday and monday game. However, these games will probably not be available on Sportitalia, but on another channel they will launch that will be pay tv to those in Italy only. But we will see. I will look at the sportitalia schedule tomoroow, and if they are showing the Arezzo-Mantova game, then we might be in luck. Last year they showed games on SI Live Solo Calcio, a branch off SportItalia.

    Yes. But I'm not going to shell out $30/month on top of what I already shell out for TV coverage... particularly when I'll have to watch on a computer. Stream capturing/saving software is available (many league games are on at 5am or 6am on a weekend in my time zone), but for the most part the experience is lame unfortunately. :tdown:

    Oh, man. From the Gazzetta Dello Sport Website:

    ROMA - Sky ha chiuso l'accordo con la Lega Calcio per trasmettere tutti le partite della serie B.

    In English, Sky Italia has all the games of Serie B.

    However, RAI International gets their Serie A saturday games from Sky, right?

    I don't know that one. It would make sense that Serie B is not aired on RAI Uno, Due, or Tre domestically -- because that would conflict with Sky's domestic rights. However, since Sky doesn't fully dominate the international rebroadcast rights (at least I presume not), that could mean that RAI Int'l could air what its domestic stations cannot. Just like last season with A (which is what killed the 90mo Minuto program on RAI.)

    So to Vinman's previous post, both women could be right. Serie B might not be shown on RAI at all domestically, but it could be different internationally for rebroadcast rights.
