Juve, due piste sono brasiliane
21.05.2007

It seems we are seriously interested in 2 brasilians: Elano, offensive midfielder,26 years old, ex-Santos player now playing in Shakhtar Donetsk. Dudu ,central midfielder who plays for CSKA Moscwa, already capped with the Brazilian NT. TBH I never saw them playing...anybody??

From Wikipedia about Dudu:

Dudu, also known as Dudu Cearense, real name Alexandro Silva de Sousa (born April 15, 1983 in Fortaleza, Ceará) is a Brazilian football (soccer) player, who currently plays for CSKA Moscow. He is a central midfielder who plays in the holding midfield role or as an attacking midfielder. He has been capped for the Brazilian national team.

about Elano:

Elano Blumer (born June 14, 1981 in Iracemápolis, São Paulo) is a Brazilian football (soccer) player. He currently plays as an attacking midfielder for FC Shakhtar Donetsk, having signed for the Ukrainian outfit for 7.6 milion euro in 2004 after contributions to two league titles and a final run in the Copa Libertadores for Santos FC that resulted in a place among El Pais's South American All-Stars in both 2003 and 2004. Although he was not a regular in his first season in Ukraine, Elano has since firmly established his credentials as a key player at the club. Elano became the first player from the Ukrainian Premier League to represent the Brazilian national team, when he was called up for the Brazil vs. Norway game on August 16, 2006. Elano is regarded as a technically gifted player, able to strike the ball equally well with both feet.

Elano can replace Nedved, but not sure if he is good enough. If we are to go for Brazilians they should be Alex and Robinho. And if Kaka wants to join i'm sure will find some space :D

to say the truth i only know Elano cause i saw his name on a Uefa fantasy football game, and from Football Manager. Malouda and others are much better, he is probably cheaper though. Maybe if there are any russians/ukrainians on this forum they could help

I would love to have them both. I would rate Dudu at the same level at Diego only that he will much easier to buy. Dudu was impreessive in this season's CL. Elano, I havent seen much of him except for his performance for brazil against Argentina, which was great.

how can you compare just now...Dudu is too new
Well Deigo wasnt too good in Porto, and for me Dudu is a realistic target and can only get better in Juve. And I dont think ppl know Kaka for his performances for Cruziero. So Dudu would be a rational gamble.

..

Daniel Carvalho would be too expensive. Elano is a very talented all-round midfielder, we should definitely go for him if he's available. Dudu doesn't seem bad either.
