That's what we want, but he can think differently, especially if no one offers him more than 50 % of what he is earning now. I can totally see him pushing to stay and get all the money.
If no one offers him more than 50% of what he is earning now, how much do you think the offers will be one year down the line after he's rotted on the bench?

He's not that stupid, he knows he needs to leave to get playing time and get the call for the World Cup.
Also, he's still an asset so teams will try to offload his high salary by lowering the transfer fee.

Fabio Capello:

"Another mistake is how Vlahović has been handled. There was never a real connection between him and Motta. He tried using him at the start, but then abandoned that idea. Clearly, Vlahović doesn’t fit Motta’s system."

Capello handled arguably the greatest Juve of all time wrong. He's the least to talk. We got whipped by Liverpool and Arsenal who were clearly inferior.

We played like such shit too for the talent we had, struggling against the likes of Messina and Lecce with what was probably a top 5 squad in Europe at the time.
Top 5 squad? I’d say more like top 3 with a good shout at being first in terms of quality, experience and depth.

Not sure how many remember but there was actually a rather popular international Eurosport weekly(or maybe monthly?) show about best/top clubs ranking that was considered rather legit back in those days, circa 2003-2006 we were often ranked 1st based on many factors such as consistency in results, squad quality and club value etc.

if only motta and allegri spent time actually training vlahovic.

juve would have been competeing for scudetto for last 4 seasons. but no instead he is wasted.

shameful how these coaches keep neglecting attacking play.

Vlahovic’s Gestures and Thiago Motta’s Response: What Happened at Continassa

Serious and focused faces, little room for smiles or lightheartedness. At Continassa, the atmosphere perfectly mirrors the weather: thick clouds with only a few glimpses of sunshine. Juventus is ramping up preparations for the crucial match against Fiorentina, a game that comes on the heels of a heavy defeat to Atalanta and numerous rumors about Thiago Motta’s future. A video of the training session released by the club captures the intense and serious mood at the Bianconeri’s training center.

Vlahovic’s Training Session
Among the most active and determined players on the field is Dusan Vlahovic. The Serbian striker, who played a negative role against Atalanta with an error that paved the way for the 4-0 defeat, appears focused and eager for redemption. He aggressively wins back possession, moves with intensity, scores, and assists—showing a determination that does not go unnoticed.

On the sidelines, Thiago Motta watches attentively and appreciates his No. 9’s attitude. “Great ball, well done, Dusan,” he shouts, while teammates also encourage him. A clear sign: the team wants to put the Bergamo disaster behind them and finish the season in the best possible way.

Fiorentina vs. Juventus: Attacking Options
As the Fiorentina clash approaches, the competition between Vlahovic and Kolo Muani for a starting spot remains open. The final training sessions will determine who will lead the Juventus attack in a match that could be crucial for both the coach’s and the club’s future.

The best three teams on paper back then were Juve, AC Milan and Barcelona. Were as AC Milan and Barcelona performed well in the CL, Juve flopped.
Image having Del Piero, Zalatan, Trezeguet and Mutu and flopping?

Eurogoals? The one with the weekly highlights?

Man I miss Eurosport not being dogshit, don't think they broadcasted a football game in half a decade.
I remember that one too, which was showing similar clips but was focused more on actual game/league highlights rather than doing a ranking.

- - - Updated - - -

I think i found it, the show was called Top 24 clubs rankings/countdown, though unfortunately the official eurosport pages about it had been archived on all of the .com , .fr and .ro eurosport websites that i checked, can only see a trace of it via google search.

cost wise, he is probably our biggest transfer flop of all time. Arthur had comparable fee, but not even close with salary and the fee was inflated with the shady formula of exchange. Here we are talking about 84,5m fee and 60m in wages flushed down the toilet and this is if we actually manage to sell him this summer, if not we will pay him extra 20m in wages next season. So his total cost could be around 144,5m total.
124,5m after this season with 55 goals scored, lets assume he scores 5 more and hits 60 goals total, it will be 2,05m for each of his goal.
This is getting ridiculous.

Ronaldo was the most expensive dude in our history. His transfer fee alone cost us 1 million per goal.

Ronaldo was different deal and made a different impact, for example:
"The Ronaldo effect was immediate. The club gained around 5m new social media followers within 24 hours of the deal being announced. In his first season, Juve’s revenue grew by some €58m ($68.4m) from the usual sources (stadium, commercial deals, merchandising); the club sold 1m shirts in 2018/19, more than double compared to the previous year.
In the second, Juve’s existing deals with Jeep and Adidas were renegotiated due to the presence of Ronaldo, rising from €17m ($20m) to €42m ($49.5m) (Jeep) and from €23m ($27m) to €51m ($60m) (Adidas).
In his three years at the club, Juve’s accumulative social media following doubled, from 50m to 113m followers. Ronaldo ultimately brought eyeballs to Serie A, and on this front he was an unequivocal success."
Im not sure if we even want to discuss it or compare, Ronaldo was deal much more than just signing a player, while Dusan doesnt even look like this.

I think there's been no recent news and everybody is on Tuz overthinking everything to oblivion out of frustration with how fucked we are.
