I remember certain players having long injuries or multiple injuries, aside from the obvious Del Piero one - Trzeguet missed spells, Buffon's one that forced us to loan Abbiati, Zebina often did, Zambrotta here and there, even Nedved. But as time has passed and the games have added up and the increased in speed I think it's inevitable, and also more serious injuries.
