He can make gestures to people who criticise him, but unless he starts taking chances like today's people will continue to talk.
He's capable of scoring from nothing like his superb 2 goals in midweek but a consistent issue is chances where he has time to think. He needs to clear his head to take that final step.
He's already 24 years old. If he's this clouded in his head, I am not sure if he's going to be one of the best strikers of his generation.
Players around his age or less than that are already doing much more than him and playing way more maturely.
In a couple of years, he'll probably be hitting his peak. He already has around 40 goals in his 2.5 seasons at JJ. The talent is clearly there. He needs to re-adjust himself mentally.
Maybe resolving his contract situation could be a step in the right direction and ease the burden on his shoulders a little bit. (That is if he accepts to take a paycut)
