Now that Im looking at his pics, he wasnt Del Piero level of hamsum but no uggo like Di Baggio or Gatusso for example. I do remember him being more hamsum when I was a kid. I actually think he started to look better at the end of 90s once he started to grow beard and mustache.
With beard and salt and pepper hair, he looked like a member of the Cali cartel or something.

He didnt age well at all. ADP has aged very well in comparison.

Looks wise and football wise, current Italy absolutely sucks tho

From Totti and ADP to uggo's like Barella and Donnarumma. What a massive downgrade.

2006 was the last hamsum generation of Italian footballers. Not like in 90s though. I think current results reflect the level of their uggliness. To start winning again, Italy needs more hamsum players.

if we end up selling him, who would you Want to replace him?

Not many elite strikers anymore. Only one i could Think of was Julian alvares, but Atlético took him.

even alvarez isn't a straight up 9, he is small for a center. for me he looks more like a second striker :boh:

but you're right, 9 is a dying breed. there are a few who are decent though. osimhen, gyökeres, openda (although not too tall either), thuram aren't bad players, close to elite. gyökeres has to move to a bigger league to prove himself though

i know. But i Think with mottas style we can play with a second striker. I Think we need more a creative forward than a poacher.

The way we conducted business this mercato I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being "out of project" next summer because of his wage, especially if we manage to find a cheaper alternative like Jonathan David for example.
That's more than certain. If the reports are true about his 12mln net salary, along with the amortization of transfer fee worth 19mln, he cost us over 40mln per year.
For this kind of money, we could buy a striker for 50mln, give him 5mln net and we would still be saving half of the Vlahovic total cost.

Let's hope he has a stellar year so that some top club buys him from us. Unless he agrees to a salary reduction which is always doubtful.
