Yes, but as a counter point: we had Cristiano Ronaldo and the argument could be made that, while he did score a lot of goals, in the bigger picture the team wasn't necessarily better for him being at the club. On the pitch.

i agree that he needs to do somethings better, however the milik comparison is pretty low bar. milik has 8 goals and 1 assist in 27 games. thats not impressive at all so if the bar is milik, then milik will be next juve attacker that will be used as scape goat.
it's like that every season now. juve fans turn on higuain, dybala, morata, ronaldo, kulu (yes i now am guiltt of this too) now vlahovic and soon milik will be used as scape goat once the same tactics don't work.

they had better midfielders to play with. tevez and morata had prime pogba, pirlo and vidal. dybala had prime pjanic and khedira. ronaldo is only one who had crap mids, but he is greatest striker of all time, and he still struggled compared to his own level.

When someone like Milik is being looked at as the fulcrum of the attack is very telling and it further highlights the incompetency of the Livornese Talibani.
We all saw the potential of Vlahovic when he played his first game for us. Over the course of the past year, his confidence has been eroded given the way he's been utilised and as a result he's struggling with any continuity and making all sorts of mistakes.
However, he looks like a completely different player when playing for his NT. Let's just say he doesn't have a very reassuring coach at club level to guide him through this rough period

It is in lots of ways… yet Di Maria is having a very good season. Rabiot is having the best season of his career. Fagioli is improving weekly. Locatelli has looked better and better the past couple months. Gatti is turning into a very good CB the past month. Etc etc.
If these players can do well, Vlahovic certainly can too. Failure to get the very basics right, that’s on him. A poor attitude, giving up on plays too easily, not making runs, constantly going down too easy… that’s on him.
Allegri should be fired, certainly, but Dusan needs to get his head out of his ass and get back to working hard at the very least.

He was coached by Allegri last year, right? What changed between Dusan from last season and this one? He looks like a mere shadow of the last year's player. Most of the players have improved this year so the fault lies on Dusan. His off the ball movement has been poor, he doesnt get himself in good positions to score. You have Kean or Milik, inferior players, that look better than him on the pitch.

We are averaging more than 2 pts in Serie A and without penalty we would have found ourselves in the 2nd place. In most seasons our point tally would be enough to challenge for the title.

#Juventus should understand the future intentions of #Vlahovic, for which the sirens EPL clubs are turning on. Moreover, the Serbian wouldn't want to stay out of the European cups and in a squad in which he struggles playing and scoring, taking account that he only scored 11 goals in 30 games.

It would be so insanely foolish to sell a 22 year old top high level striker.
Keep him and build on him, find new coach ASAP (not for Vlahovic but for the team). Focus on the real issues of the teams weakness and not imaginary ones that will make us weaker if we are silly enough to part with based on hysteria..

Point is we look a better team with him. He doesn't necessarely have to score like a madman for that. His hold up play is better, his first touch is better, his passing is better. He is overall more useful to the team than a Vlahovic who doesn't score.
Not saying we should go into a new season with Milik starting, but having a striker who isn't a complete timber isn't a bad thing.
Higuain, Tevez, Dybala, Mandzu, Morty, you name it, were all (judging by how Vlahovic plays now) more well rounded players. Ronaldo was kinda crap overall gameplay wise, but unlike Vlahovic, he always managed to score, so it wasn't that much of a problem.
