We never needed a new striker. Just fix the rest of the team, sign midfielders, wingers, fullbacks, CBs, whatever is the biggest need and Kean and Milik and Morata and Matri and Quagliarella will do just fine for the time being.
Build a team first, because so far there has been absolutely no difference whoever plays upfront. Vlahović certainly didn't make a difference for that money. When defense, midfield and wings started playing better so did the attack. Attack relies on the other parts of the team, not vice-versa

Vlahovic could potentially be our striker for a decade or so and it would be stupid to sell him now because someone else is gonna score anyway.

He's never going to be here for a decade. We've said that how many times in the past about Cancelo, De Ligt, Pogba etc? Only players with potential to be here for a decade are young Italians. Vlahović will be sold/want to leave in the next 2 years max. EPL clubs will need a striker, RM and Bayern, maybe PSG will also need a striker. Barcelona will soon need a striker again etc.
And I don't want him sold necessarily, but if a bid of what we paid or higher comes up it would be idiotic to turn it down considering all the problems on the financial side and all the other positions that need addressing in the next 2 windows.
We've spent 100m or close to it on 3 strikers in a row now and the team played best and won the most with the ones we paid 20m or less for. Juventus has simply never been a team of a 50 goals per season one man show attacker. We've skipped steps and tried to have an instant team. We need to go back to what started the 9 in a row dynasty
