Maybe don’t spend 85 mil on a poacher if your team can’t creat for shit ?
I don’t think he’s a bad player but he is nowhere worth the money we paid for him nor was he the player we needed

But the problem all along was that we were creating chances, just our players couldn't finish - said Tuz

He should have not signed for this team to be honest. In real or bayern he would have a couple haytricks by now.

In fact, we shoudnt sign attackers anymore. Just sign defensive mids and put them on the attack.

This team is done unless something out of the ordinary happens

Yeah, but the problem starts not when u have Marco Motta who earns 2m or less and u can just put him on the bench and buy better player. The problem is when u have LB earning like a WC player and have to offload him in order to strengthen, this is the situation we are in. U not only have to invest big sum for replacement but also be prepared to pay loads of money to the bum u already have.
but they already bought Cambiaso who clears both Sandro and Pellegrini, the mistake was loaning him out. Idk whose decision that was, like did Max tell management he wasn’t gonna play or what?

This guy for capocannoniere this season :jflag:

Trivia: who were our three most recent capocannonieri? 1 point each for name, 2 points for the years. Without looking it up, obviously

DP in 2008, Trez shared cappocanoniere with Hubner in 2002 and before that I think you have to go all the way back to Platini in the 80s.

Scary fact is that whatever team had the cappocannoniere for the past decade or so(if not even longer) have actually not won the Scudetto...

Hopefully Vlahovic gets to break that curse with us, although it’s not going to be an easy task at all, otherwise tbh I wouldn’t mind him to be behind Immobile or whoever even by just a goal for as long as we are the ones who actually win the Scudetto!

To be fair most of the last decade has been us winning the scudetto with goalscoring being more of a collective effort.

It must be one of the oddest awards in football. Guys like Di Natale, Old Luca Toni with Hellas and Old Q-Tube with Sampdoria winning the top scorer award in a top league. Luca first won it with Viola at age 29 and then won it again almost a decade later

Last time a league winner won it was Zlatan with Inter in 08-09 btw

And the fact an average player like Immobile seems to win it every other year or at least finish as one of the top scorers is strange.
The Italian model of a team focused around a number 9 who does 10% of the work but takes 100% of the credit. Love it.

Maybe not so much Immobile but Inzaghi and Toni were exactly like that :touched:

Just a suggestion @Mark, i really think this thread deserves a poll for potential number of goals in all comps this season, under or over or something like that, seen some very pessimistic posters while others a bit more optimistic regarding Vlahovic and would be interesting to see in what direction will the majority of expectations lean towards before a ball is even kicked officially this season.

Since he joined Juventus, Dusan #Vlahovic has scored 11 goals: only Lautaro Martinez (13) and Ciro Immobile (12) have done better in all competitions among those who have played only in Serie A teams over this period. Compressor.
