He'll never be a world beater until he can fix his head. It's probably the most difficult hurdle he will have to get over. Top strikers are calm and composed when opportunities arise, he looks visibly worked up at the sight of a chance.
He can still do it, he's only just turned 25. But I'd say it is more unlikely than likely.
It’s strange. In that first 3 months when he joined, he showed some great composure in the box at times (I can recall two supreme goals away against Empoli where he showcased that). He also chased lost causes, ran the channels, won tackles high up the pitch.
Essentially all the stuff he no longer does.
Hard to pinpoint the moment when the wheels started to fall off. He’s proven to be a mental midget on a downward spiral and needs a change, which hopefully he will find this summer as I can’t see it working out here.
