Another underwhelming game, but this is a 100 percent penalty.

He starts the games with belief, ends it with frustration. Even last year he was constantly complaining, rightly so sometimes but, he needs to accept that the ref won't change his decision. I seriously think vlahovic will turn into a really good player once he leaves us, but here, he's just traumatised and plays a with a lot of pressure and sometimes really overthinks it. A lot of this comes from him, so unless we give him some therapy, nothing will change.

Interesting option- with the additional bonus of really pissing off Napoli again which I'd fucking love. However:

Osimhen's 12 goals in 15 games playing in Turkiye and the Europa League on a team that looks to be flying high and running well
vs
Dusan's 12 in 21 playing in Serie A and the Champions League in a dysfunctional mess of a Juventus team.

Not exactly a massive upgrade on paper. I'd still much rather somebody figure out the team so we can get the best out of the players we have, who we have all seen are capable of top-level performances.

Statistics really don’t tell me much. Sometimes nice in a particular football-context, other than that just numbers unable to precisely describe a very dynamic game.

Osimhen would make Napoli seethe so hard, would be a beautiful sight to see! Goals are no problem for Osimhen, my biggest worry would be would he be compatible with JJ medical.

If Susan doesn't renew on a lower salary we let him go at the end of his contract either way, because he doesn't fit our wage structure.

Even then unless some golden opportunity arrives we should keep him till the end of his contract rather than sell him to try and get whatever small amount for him.

He's not terrible. The main issue is his salary.

Why @Lion dont put Marmouz with 18 goals and 12 assists in all competition (23 games), that is 30 goals contribution, because that is not suit his agenda

This guy cost 1,6m gross per year not even 1/11 what we need to paid for Vlahovic services
marmoush is playing for a "smaller" team. the guys i listed are playing for "top" clubs in their respective leagues.

do you know who else was scoring goals left and right at age of 20 years and looked great? vlahovic at fiorentina. if you don't believe me look at his stats befo

why is he not replicating his stats from there here?

Actually Dusan's serie a goal record for viola is almost the same as his one for juve.

His viola goal rate is weighted towards his later seasons tho ofc

i knew some nerd was going to come in with the " UMMM AKSHU WALLY" response.

but yeah jokes aside cuz he started his senior career there at like 17. very few teenagers are scoring halaand and messi numbers at 17 to 20 years old. even harry kane didn't have impressive numbers till he was like 22

Gonzales, he seems to have everything vlahovic tries to do while often failing, the only thing the argentinian doesn't have is the height, but that's a non issue given how we all have seen how vlahovic is a midget in a giant body.

I'm not saying Gonzales is a bona fide WC #9 but he seems to be very clutch despite not playing often and definitely can play vlahovic role by the looks of it.

We can instead buy another right or left winger instead of pushing hard for a non existent and expensive CF target.
Nice story, who's gonzales

I'm inclined to agree. Get Jonathan David on a free, get rid off Milik and keep Vlahovic for another year. Try and convince him for an extension so that we can sell him in 2026, if not, he leaves on a free. Not the most ideal situation but we can take our chances on this.

Osimhen seems very unrealistic(cost between wages and transfer fee too high) so any replacement coming in will probably have the same problems as Vlahovic given that this team is young, inconsistent and inexperienced.
