Why do people care so much which reporter said it first and even worse use it to bash them if they dare confirm the news 2 minutes later?

These people (reliable ones like Agresti, Romano, GDM, Ornstein, Falk etc) depend on team/agent sources telling them the truth in an industry where they always lie. They can only report what they're told directly from those sources, they can't play Momblano or Schira and throw a thousand names every day, then quote themselves when one hits.

There is just too much 'logic' happening now. One thing dragging another one behind it, seems like it's going to happen now.
I don't really like him (not as a player) and don't like taking shortcuts (skipping over larger issues in defense and midfield), but can't really say no to getting such a talent early from a team that does anything they can to avoid selling to us.
