    No, that's correct. KDE uses fancy preloading techniques which make apps load faster. Kinda like IE in Windows. Okay bad example.

    Of course if you don't have any of that in memory, it takes a moment to load. Which is why on my KDE desktop it'll be faster.

    i take windows media player classic with k-lite codec pack over anything. :stuckup: (in windows of course)

    or if you manage a big collection like me, try media monkey. plays all audio files and has some amazing options especially tagging ones.

    or just go here and download the old version of winamp and stop your whining. :D
