No, that's correct. KDE uses fancy preloading techniques which make apps load faster. Kinda like IE in Windows. Okay bad example. Of course if you don't have any of that in memory, it takes a moment to load. Which is why on my KDE desktop it'll be faster.

Click to expand... install winamp lite and you get the same winamp as it was in version 2.9, before all the enhancements started. or try foobar 2000, fast, simple and the most powerful. badf interface though. or if you manage a big collection like me, try media monkey. plays all audio files and has some amazing options especially tagging ones. or just go here and download the old version of winamp and stop your whining. http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=winamp
