Seriously, the guy has problems and shortcomings up to his eyeballs. But I do like hearing the board willing to take risks like that -- even if the guy probably is better for loaning out before anything else (and we don't have a disciplinarian of a coach who can earn a young player's respect that way).

I wouldnt take it that far, but you have to admit saying Sneider is overrated is a bit odd Dom. If i were in your place people wouldnt hear the end of how great my country is in football

I'm not sure about overrated, but if you forget his heroics at Euro and look at his season at Real, he wasn't really a WC player although he had some moments of brilliance. But of course if he can build on his Euro 2008 form and keep playing like this next season then considering him less than one of the best midfielders in the world is stupid.
