Guys, Lorena had the same problem. She couldn't login into forums, so she called her Internet provider and they resolved it.

I think it's the same issue as you have, so you might give that card a try.

Guys I don't know what exactly is going on with the server, but in case I am not using a proxy of some kind I am unable to connect. My IP is 46.129.67.110 [UPC,Rotterdam,NL] and as far as I can tell I not banned (or at least I know nothing of it!) so the question is if there is some IP filtering or the DNS of my IP hasn't bothered refreshing?
The problem is that I tried the host IP 46.4.40.204 and its not working? Ping is timed out. Trace route ends @ 213-239-224-17.clients.your-server.de ~24ms. That is why i don't think it has anything to do with my ISP.
Is there something I am missing or the problem is with the server?

Sometimes it takes more than a few days for the DNS to resolve once the site's moved to a new server. The hosts file is just a temporary solution until DNS resolves. Once it does that you can remove or comment out the lines in the hosts file. If you can't connect, try the hosts file solultion.

Joe and koss: See if you can connect now, I've flushed the iptables.

I'm not sure but I think the firewall settings were a bit too restrictive, I've fixed that though. If it happens again please let me know.
