Everton appear determined to sign Douglas Luiz, the Toffees have offered €30m for the Brazilian. However, Juventus are demanding a total package worth €40m.

Juventus could be prepared to accept an offer of €30m + €10m in bonuses, if Everton are persistent enough. However, the Friedkin ownership at Everton are reportedly confident that an agreement can be reached with Juve.

Everton are willing to purchase the player permanently with money up-front, after West Ham attempted to strike a deal for a €10m loan with an option-to-buy the player - something the Bianconeri are not interested in.

What a disaster.

It's going to be hard to sell him for a decent sum when everyone knows he isn't wanted here. I've a feeling this will end up being another loan with option.

Some mid table English club are rubbing their hands and kicking their lips over this.

He’s had a loser mentality and pretty much stopped trying to fight for a starting spot halfway through last season. Brazilian players are always the same, they either turn into guys like Danilo and Bremer or end up like this guy and Arthur. There’s no middle ground.
