do you remember the theory about aston villa needing some plusvalenza before the end of the last financial year, and villa owner sawiris, member of the exor partners council, was in a position of asking favors from elkann, owner of jj, also in need of plusvalenza? and hence the luiz to jj, barrenechea + iling jr to villa swap deals

:boh:
Yep we all saw it as a real dodgy deal at the time. Luiz the only one who thought it was a purely sporting transfer

Still his brother Arthur for me.
Gabriel Appelt never even won a single ballon dor in the end - he's the real biggest flop in Jj history

Fuck this guy, biggest flop maybe in Juve history. But Jj culture is garbage and has been for several years.
biggest flop is Jorge Martinez I think.I still don’t get it, how did Marotta end up paying 12 million for him?

But three of Juve’s biggest flops were actually all Brazilian: Melo, Arthur, and Douglas.

La Juventus non avrebbe affatto gradito il clamoroso sfogo via social di Douglas Luiz. La società starebbe pensando di multare il giocatore a causa della violazione del codice etico del club. [Gazzetta dello Sport]

Juventus apparently did not appreciate Douglas Luiz's sensational social media outburst. The club is reportedly considering fining the player for violating the club's code of ethics. [Gazzetta dello Sport]

I was at the game tonight and watched the players warm up.

His attitude looks atrocious. The bench players were doing piggy in the middle and he was the only one putting no effort in, basically being happy to lose the ball whenever he had it. It looked like Mbangula and another player were trying to get him to try. If that's a reflection of his attitude this season I'm not surprised with the way it has gone.
Damn, we could have met up. I was there too.

Seems like he is way too mentally fragile to have ever done well here.

Doesn't really surprise me that we didn't do our due diligence in finding out different facets to a player. Giuntoli seems like a fan, he likes a player and tries to buy him, sort the rest out later. Great work.

Barely able to keep the ball let alone his girlfriend (now ex)
You should sell him a course on how you keep your model girlfriend. And for that matter how you got to a professional level at football.

Id throw Susan into the mix considering how much he cost.
Come on dude. He's scored an underwhelming but still decent amount of goals and assists.
