This is actually a pretty dark period for Brazilian football. They still have managed to produce some elite talents that European nations can only dream of. And they will continue to do so. It's just that Italy or JJ wouldn't be the ideal destination for these players.

Nothing else makes sense. He doesn’t like Luiz because Luiz is always looking to create chances even if it means losing the ball where others will always play it safe.

Who was it that said the deal was probably financial engineering between Aston Villa, Juve and Exor? Isn’t one of their owners on the board of Exor? @s4tch
But how does he go from a top mid in a harder league than serie a to not even good enough to be on bench for a mid table serie a club? It doesn’t make sense at all

Wait there’s still people rating this guy ? If any top EPL club really showed interest by paying his fee, he’d be gone…. Just no one wants him

their owner (sawiris) is a member of the exor partners council so he might be in a regular contact with elkann. some journalists suggested that since villa desperately needed some plusvalenza before the end of the previous financial year, and jj was looking for some midfield reinforcement, the deal made sense for all parties. it's all speculation though, no one would confirm that villa's income statement was at the center of the transfer lol

The fluffing of this guy is just ridiculous. We paid 60M for this dunderhead including swap deals and the best he can do against Onyedika and Jashari is make a couple good passes and turn the ball over? People are praising him cuz he "takes risks"? Wut

Dude got raped by Ben Stiller and we're supposed to think he's actually the secret sauce we need to save our season. Sad!

We have experience that some players just need time, same goes for Koop. If u do proper research before transfer u shouldn't give up on him after few months with injuries too

From what I have seen from D.Luiz, he is more the type to provide a good long ball rather than provide killer passes upfront.
I`d love us to sell him but I do believe D.Luiz could be a good fit at another team.
Agree and his position is pivot in 2 man midfield or DM where in both positions his defensive awareness seems lacking, that is the reason why he lost the spot against Loca and Thuram

On the other side, the coaching staff probably looks to groom Thuram more as he has more potential to improve if he gets more minutes

Then he is below Koop in the pecking order for AMC position. Basically we have a luxurious bench player.

And with the most utilities player in the squad, aka McBurger, Motta seems to have more faith in McKennie, if he does not play as wingback
