Thought he did well overall.

I've like his performances recently more than Koop. But he had a really poor miss when Gonzalez messed up his chance.
That wasn't an easy chance though, i would play him instead of Koop, he has very good passing and even he is faster than Poop

Does he sit in the same boat as many others where we know he is more capable than he is playing but in this dysfunctional set up where everyone has no clue how to play together, he just looks average at best?

How are we here again as a club? Allegri was to blame for everything yet he leaves and we still have players who can't settle in and gain their best form under a manager.

Yes, I think that's the case with every single one of our players.

Ahhh memories from 12 months ago...nothing has changed.
I understand your point in that the coach changed and the style of play continued but we also brought in quite a lot of expensive players for the first team.

I really do think we've hired more of the same when it comes to the coach. These players have all shown much more than this earlier in their careers except the young lads and McKennie who is balling out of control atm plus Bremember before his injury

New coach, new tactics, new players, same negative results.

So we had United, Chelsea, City and now Arsenal is showing interest in him. Looks like everybody knows he can do much better. The question is "why doesn't he?".

Okay another question from me, please if someone can post projecting at Luiz's present transfer value how much money we will lose him leaving this summer? Maybe an EPL team would overspend, thinking that league suits him?

Like MikeM posted maybe wrong but like I posted in LIVE thread appeared Luiz has creativity with passing lacking from other mids. Whatever deficiencies he has I think might as well give him more time to see what he can do. Luiz's value probably at bottom so maybe improves and get more money for him or he stays.

I think he can only get better.

He has shown enough to convince me that the talent is there and that he just needs to improve physically.

I'm not sure if he is struggling with injury or fatigue this season but as I've said many times before we haven't seen him at anywhere near his best physical condition yet.

Theory:

In practice when first signed, motta asked Luiz to pass ball backwards and never create chances. Since Luiz is a creative mid, he didn’t listen to this bullshit and passed ball forwards. Motta lost his mind and benched him since.

The same thing happened to Kulu.

Allegri destroyed him for not being better defensively.

I think you're right honestly
