How is Pogba doing though? Or how was his performances in MU shirt? Wasn't it obvious for years that he's wasted his talent much like Balotelli did?
I’m not sure if you are just grouping them together because they are black or not.
You better watch it because very soon, you may be stepping on some non-binary ethnically ambiguous toes.

I wouldnt compare them. Pogba got injured frequently after a while. At his first seasons you could argue he was their best player.
Balotelli just threw everything away while being a real dumbass.
He was at Inter, went to City and was also good at Milan IIRC but his antics and work ethics were just not there.
I even remember him peeing in a teammate shoe. Everything was just a big joke for him.
He could easily play in a medium to strong team but his antics makes him unwanted.

- - - Updated - - -

He had a good season at Villa and the fact that he comes from a an EPL club, I'm sure we will have no problems selling him. If there's one thing EPL fag like is to bring back some of their 'own' because he will have no time settling in.

Arthur is lightweight, injury prone. No La liga, serie A club were ever able to afford his wages, and in EPL he failed.
Douglas is heavy weight and thankfully not injury prone. All the more reason why these two cannot be compared.
Im still not convinced at him as a flop.
Yes he cost us twice already but so did MDL at first with a series of handballs.
Lets wait and see.
I dont think he was that bad aside for these brain fucks. The question is - Is he a M.D.L or a Melo (career wise)

From Continassa it filters out that Douglas Luiz's attitude is positive, not passive, despite the negative episodes and the bench. Thiago Motta has a lot of faith in him, otherwise at a moment in the market he could have done without him, instead he wanted him.

The only thing that keeps me calm about him is that also zirkzee is strugling in man u. And he was great in italy. Looks like some people needs more time to adapt. Lets hope this wont excalate like arthurd

without extensive defensive duties i think he could be useful

then again, even vlahovic defends. and you don't keep a 50m player on the bench and use him as a vice koop when necessary. so he needs to up his game and learn how to press and defend

Its all in the player's mindset. If he wants to be a part of if, he will do it, if not, this is it. I still think than there is a huge quality in him, he just needs a click in his head.

I wasn't around when Arthur first came. How big a chance did he get with us? Like was he binned immediately? I'm wondering if it's a case where Motta has faith and gives him plenty of time and told to ignore pressure from mistakes. Sort of like we can create a gem out of a waste of space by having faith and giving time.

Imo that's the right approach, but only if we're sure he's got what it takes, and that's what I heard when he first arrived.

He struggled, got a big injury + operation and almost never played again.

Arthur you could tell immediately had no talent. Dribbling with his head down all match. We knew we were fucked.

Luiz has talent so I'm cautiously optimistic

Luiz is obviously a few levels above Artur but arguing is on the fee we paid for him, He hasn't shown any sign of quality that would justify him being worth paying 50m.
