we still have to play him whether he improves or not to avoid making losses.

giuntoli is a fool. i bet he knew nothing about this player before agents start knocking his door. stay the fuck away from lolzilians, you dummy. getting paid millions for making amateur mistakes.
He bought a player that motta clearly didn’t want. So he is not even taking what coach wants into consideration. This is a disaster of a teamwork

What's the expected timeline of return for this bloke? Details of injury?

Something smells like shit here.

This transaction should be investigated for money laundering.
during the summer a few journalists suggested that the timing of the move was heavily motivated by villa's need for plusvalenza and the good relationship between the owners

it still looked like a good signing regardless. i have no idea what went wrong

as for the injury, journalists report that it's nothing serious, just some recurring pain and the club doesn't want to take unnecessary risks. he should be back against lecce. we'll see

Weird how we spent a lot on two Brazilian midfielders and both turned up with niggling injuries that took time to resolve.

so was there actually many (or any at all) players who had such a rough start, but suceed at Juve in the end? I heard Nedved had pretty bad start or even first season at Juve, but I wont lie i have seen that league season. Stats says that in the first 16 league games he had 1 goal and 2 assists. But he was playing all the time and getting used to the team so maybe its more like Koop case.

bonucci had a very mediocre season in his first season. didn't look anything special and was probably going to be sold if he had another season like his first. turned out to be a world class defender in the end though (yes haters suck it. he was world class. no i am not interested in hearing why chiellini and barzagli carried the defense)

i would say most recently ronaldo. while not a rough season, he had a rough start by his standards not scoring for 3 games in a row
