With the emergence of Bernardeschi and costas ability, I wonder if the team goes back to a 4231 again. I think it would work as long as Khedira isn’t the first choice next to Pjanic. Can is made to play the pivot while Khediras best in a three man alignment.

imo lazy Sami is best in a pivot as in a 3 man midfield he thinks it's ok to hide from the ball for 90 minutes unless it's in final 3rd
