He's created multiple goals from the right this year. He crosses well from that side also. The advantage of playing him on the right is he has a good cross with his right foot too, plus can cut in and shoot with his left. It makes him harder to defend given more unpredictability as to what he can and will do.

Unfortunately we are overloaded with left foot dominant players, and Bernadeschi is definitely either CAM, or LWF. Can only really play on that side. And Dybala heavily favours that side of the pitch regardless of what position he plays. Cuadrado also only really plays on the right.

It's a good thing Costa can play both sides quite effectively, though I do in general prefer what he does on the right.

For an attacker in his prime? It's definitely a fair price. I wouldn't call it a steal by any stretch. But it could turn out to be a bargain if he starts putting in top performances in CL alongside being our best performer in Serie A lately.
thats' if

For me the real bargain is bernardeschi. He has the chance to develop exponentially.

Costa back in Juventus training | Football Italia

Douglas Costa has returned to training with the rest of the Juventus squad, ahead of the trip to Fiorentina on Friday.

The Brazilian winger missed the win over Sassuolo at the weekend with a calf injury, and had been following a personalised training program.

Now though the Bianconeri’s official website has confirmed that Douglas Costa returned to training with his teammates at Vinovo this morning, while Stefano Sturaro worked separately.

Despite that, the winger is not expected to start at the Artemio Franchi, with Tottenham Hotspur to come in the Champions League on Tuesday.
