So a real fan has to welcome players at the airport?

You are the ultimate king of black and white thinking, along with Zach, which is pretty ironc since you love to call him out for it.

Are real fans allowed to question a €46m transfer, instead of celebrating it like we signed a superstar of the game? Because we haven't.

Of course i never said he'll make us worse, that's just your usual hyperbole $#@!.
I said he will most likely improve us and that he is a slight upgrade over Cuadrado, but that he isn't worth the money.
€46m is too much for a player that want's out and is wanted gone by the club too.
he provides much more than "slight upgrade" over Cuad.

I believe he will be pretty good here

those who says he got caught as Krasic.. hell no.
Krasic issue was more of confidence than anything. as well he has much more talent that Krasic pace.

Great deal for us. Thank you Bayern. you showed your friendship to us.
they did not.. they got 46 to fund JAMES.

not sure if I can say the price is high

we are in same position as MANU (in buying players)..
Clubs knows we want to upgrade and cannot just go with current squad.. so they will do their best to earn every euro from us.
the situation is the same with any other club we are dealing with esp. this year

In your face $#@!ing haters!
FI says it is an obligation over certain achievements, however, I did not understood it this way.. below the quotes

“It was a serious and constructive negotiation process with the Juventus directors. All financial requirements of FC Bayern were fulfilled,” said Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

“I would like to thank Douglas for his achievements. After two successful years with four titles, he wanted to begin a new challenge. We accepted this and wish him and his family all the best for the future in Italy.”

The 26-year-old Brazilian underwent his medical this morning and will wear shirt number 11 for Juventus.

“Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that the agreement with FC Bayern München AG for the temporary acquisition, until 30 June 2018, of the registration rights of the player Douglas Costa de Souza has been finalised for a consideration of € 6 million to be paid within seven days of the FIGC registration execution.

“The agreement also provides Juventus the option right, to be exercised before 30 June 2018, for the definitive acquisition of the player at a price of € 40 million to be paid in two financial years. The consideration may increase of € 1 million on achieving given conditions in the course of the duration of the contract.”

a bit too much it would have been perfect 7+35m
i see it in a way that clubs know we have money
know we can't go with current squad
know we have to buy
so they play hard balls with us.

if Costa (who want out) costs 46m and many here thinks its too much.
what about Berna who want out and have 1 year left in his contract, we are paying 40 something for him also.

just accept this market and these prices.

Basically we spread the payment over three years; 6, 20, 20. Spreading payments is somewhat beneficial now days - even for Bayern.

For us to spread the payment, Bayern probably raised the price by some percentages (functioning as an interest fee). We don't know how much that is, but that is definitely Bayerns gain.
Our gain is, that we can spread the payment over 3 years and operate within the limitations of FFP. Not only that, but we also get to keep the majority of the transfer sum in our bank account and accumulate some interest for 2 years.

So yes, we paid a little to much, but that's the cost of spreading payments unfortunately.
