Brilliant performance. He should start on the right side in the second leg, they will miss Tagliafico on that flank.
Last 15 minutes on the left side were great. In first 15 minutes on the right he was totally lost. But tbh this is a bit understandable after such a long break.

Thought he did well on the right cutting in. It was the first time we were consistently beating players in midfield and making them turn.

I always prefer him on the left though.

costa lacks match fitness atm, he got some decisions completely wrong, still, his run deserved a goal.

let's play him at least for an hour against spal.

Not 100% yet, should be guaranteed starter at his best, but this type of open team ideal for him regardless.

For second leg, can DC-CR7-Berna work?

Ronaldo usually needs a striker to play off of.

Ronaldo has scored tons of goals throughout his career, in different setups. He doesnt need a useless Mandzukic to function. He has never looked as frustrated as he does now, his entire career. What he needs is a team who can hold on to the ball, run and create chances and space. Costa, Kean, Dybala. All of them would be an improvement. Berna is also not untouchable, atleast not for 90 min. We should rotate much more in attack, we got amazing depth. Allegri must work harder to figure out some attacking patterns and use our strengths.
