This doesn't make sense. Unless it's a monetary issue, why would we get him ONLY if Cuadrado leaves? Only two players for each wing? What happens in the highly likely scenario if one or two goes down injured?

Don't forget we have Pjaca and Mandzukic who can also play on the wing, although one is currently recovering from an injury and the other isn't a natural winger.

If rumours of Bayern being interested in Carrasco are true, perhaps both parties are waiting to see how this pans out before both parties can find an agreement on Costa :boh:

This isn't enough, especially considering as you said, Pjaca is recovering from a serious injury and Mandzukic isn't an actual winger. Can't just have two players for a position if we're going to compete on three fronts.

that's perfectly enough, because in an unlikely scenario where 3 wingers gets injured, we can change the tactics accordingly. max does that, we might ditch wings from time to time
