Grosso would rock im sure, he will suit with JUVE, and playing for nazionale as well, would help us and nazzionale a lot. So I think we should buy as much as we can Italy internationals :D

Milan close in on Cissokho Saturday 13 June, 2009

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Milan have found the heir to Paolo Maldini and offered to quadruple the wages of Porto's Aly Cissokho.

The full-back was picked by new Coach Leonardo to freshen up the Rossoneri defence, above all in terms of putting more attacking verve down the flanks.

It's reported Leonardo flew to Portugal for a meeting with Cissokho, who has been one of the revelations of Porto this season.

The French youngster will turn 22 later this year and his price-tag has been set at around £11m.

An attacking left-back with real power and pace, he would fill the role once taken by Maldini, while Milan already have Thiago Silva to take over in central defence.

Cissokho also stated earlier this summer that he has received interest from Tottenham.

"I know big clubs are looking at me. I have a contract until 2012 and the club officials want me to add another year to that," said Cissokho.

"That shows they have trust in me and I am proud of that. I also know there are big clubs looking at me, and Tottenham is one of them and that is fine.

"I will talk with my club and we will see what happens from there. We will just wait until the end of the season and then see."

Neither to be honest, grosso is decent but growing old and dossena is not much better than DC while sucking defensively. Id prefer criscito of this season over both...

we still need to get Grosso, G Rossi, D' Agostino, Zapata and we are ready for a new Scudetto

YOu talking about Juventus, we are not real madrid or whatsoever team who changes starting eleven every season, we don't need to buy like 4-5 and change all our line up because it's difficult to get player used to it. We need only one more defender, and if we could bring to base Cristicio everything would be settled :)

Grosso has been in good form lately. His price tag + age is a bit of a downer, but he immediately improves Juve's back 4.
for a year or 2 he would. but to get him we would have to give him like a 3 or 4 year deal probably. so we would be stuck with him on a substantial salary (seeing how he is in his 30's, coming from a team like lyon and is a WC winner). Like he would prob make like 4 times what we pay DC .. maybe more?

That's very true, but he could play a lot longer than 4 years :). and de ceglie will get a lot of time playing. And we would sell molinaro and that amount we take from him give to De Ceglie.
