Rumor down in Turin is that we might see Fiorentina's CB Dario Dainelli in a Juve shirt next season.

FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

He's a good defender, better than what we got but I was expecting a BIG name.

Dario Dainelli (born June 9, 1979 in Pontedera, province of Pisa) is an Italian football player. He is the captain of ACF Fiorentina and plays as a central defender.

In December 2004 he was signed by Fiorentina from Brescia Calcio.

He made his Italy national team debut against Ecuador, 11 June 2005.

He was recalled by new Italian head coach Roberto Donadoni to play in Euro 2008 qualifying against Lithuania and France on 2 September 2006 and 6 September 2006.

Full name: Dario Dainelli
Date of birth: June 9, 1979
Place of birth: Pontedera, Italy
Height: 1.91 m
Weight: 87kg
Position: central defender

The most important is that he is free...:D

What is more, he is Italian.

Anyways, I'm going to watch Fiorentina's next game to concentrate on Dainelli, so that I can judge his playing style and his form. But from his statistics, I mean his height and weight, I think that they're optimum for a centre defender.

@Hambon, nice to see you around, bro. :pint:

Dario Dainelli is not a bad player. In fact, last season I believe he was La Viola's best stopper. If he's free I would not object to him coming to Turin as he's better than Boumsong and still has a bunch of years left in him. He would not be a bad player to have on the bench.

Although, he's not the player to solve our defensive problems, that's for sure.
