Roberto Donadoni has challenged Parma to extend their unbeaten home record when they entertain Antonio Conte’s league leaders on Sunday afternoon.
But the 49-year-old admits the encounter will represent a stern test of his side’s abilities.
Addressing the media, Donadoni said: “We need to look to maintain our team identity and ensure we don’t leave gaps in crucial areas, it would be suicidal in terms of counter attacks and the play of their midfielders.
“It’s an encounter that’s full of pitfalls, they have players who are able to give their all even when the game isn’t necessarily going in their favour.
“Giovinco’s a player with undoubted technical qualities but he’s not the only one. Juventus are an important side with quality players and can only be faced by adopting a strong team approach.”
