What do you mean by out of position ? Thats so vague.

In a 4-3-3 ,he's perfectly capable of playing on either side of the wing.At Palermo he was regularly occupying each side of the flank. So i dont know what you're on about really.

Most on here don't watch Serie A unless it's Juventus games so most wouldn't know. You are correct he can play in all those positions

Yeah Dybala would be greatly ideal as roaming wing forward, he is better off exploiting wide zones where he is regularly facing couple players who is great at dribbling for fun with ideal space in front of him, he is great at these opportunities that are offered there. Compared to to just being limited to congested central channels where he is more likely to be aggressively targeted before having a chance to turn towards goal, and have to be extremely quicker in decision making to get ahead.

The way you put it, i get the feeling he'd do rather poor under Conte

In his career Dybala hasn't played a 4-3-3 for a single second - especially not on the left wing, boy wouldn't use his right foot to save his life. I say the chances of Dybala LW are very slim, to say the least. (I assume you all were fapping about a system with dybala-morata-berardi)

Bench: Coman, Pereyra, Mandzukic

I hope that is true, which is a shame for Coman, finally a formation he can excell in and he is gone
Allegri specifically mentioned Coman in his list of attackers at our disposal ;) I thought he was heading out on loan as well, but it seems as if Kingsley might stay after all.

Not LW but RW, with freedom to go as much Central as he likes, but basically a forward who stretches defences (only acts as a winger by helping out fullback off the ball). Kinda like Barcas wing forwards. They are deadly centrally but give defenders headache by exploiting the wide areas. You don't play players like this in the wing their strongest foot is for, but the opposite where they can cut in and wreck havoc. Seen Dybala do this often with Palermo from the right.

I understand the concept of inverted wingers, that's why I critized the idea of playing Dybala-Morata-Berardi in the first place.

433 is just a formation on paper.

When Cerci was at Torino, they used 3-5-2 but he mostly was seen occupying the right side of the wing and cutting in from there.

Dybala was seen playing a similar sort of role at Palermo albeit he was used centrally too for some games.

Even at Juve,Morata was seen playing as a roaming forward for a number of games.I expect Dybala to play a similar role but on the right side of the flank.

Berardi coming here isnt a certainty though.I do understand your concern but i'd imagine Berardi to rotate with Dybala if he came here.

Problem is we don't have someone for the left. Morata should stay Central even if he is decent wide. Only option is Coman but doubt he is ready to start. Perhaps Pereyra?

To make it clear, I never critized the idea of Dybala playing RW

this posting
Using a system that forces to play your 32M transfer out of position :shifty: Allegri is smarter than that
I wrote on the assumption that we are sitting in the Berardi thread and discussing how to fit both of them into a formation, and since Berardi RW is fix, I thought ppl were debating Dybala LW

And that posting
What ?
Dybala can play anywhere in a front three.
confirmed my assumption and I tried to fight against with my "he can't use his right foot to save his life" posting.
---------------------------------------------------------

What I mean is that including 4-3-3 to you arsenal only make sense if you have an actual LW which we don't.

Arent we supposedly looking out for another winger tho ?
Anyway, its all just speculation and im sure Max
knows what he's doing.Pre-Season would give us a better idea i suppose.

Anyway just for speculation sake, even if Berardi was supposed to be 'that' winger,i presume we could possibly use something like this..

Morata--------------------Berardi
-------------Dybala------------

Though in actuality,i expect a Dybala-Mandzukic-Dybala starting trio instead.
