There's againt that talk of him staying for one more year at Sassuolo.

We didn't have trust in Veratti and now we could make same mistake with Berardi (even if we have straight rights on him).

We call it "being patient with a player", while in essence we're fucking him up. If we don't bring him now I don't think he will ever come.

Probably if he was called Berardinho, we would have already payed 30 million for him and build our attack around him.
Oooorrrrrrr we would like him to be a n1 attacker on a weak team and play 90 minutes a game instead of being our 4th/5th choice and play once every 4 games.

Allegri has considered using Berardi as a trequartista (according to some rumor a week or so ago), and he can play SS and RW. the guy would rotate with Dybala at SS, play some games at AM too, AND be our RW in those games we use a 4-3-3 in (which should be more than last season, considering Tevez is not here anymore). plenty of game time for him, if he arrives.

also, fighting for a starting spot at Juventus with another young player> guaranteed starting spot at Sassuolo

I'm refreshing Tuz on tapatalk countless times past days for any news of joining us. Please make it happen...
Same. I even checked rakib's account like 2 days ago to see if he still uses this av. Was surprised to see 'rakib' telling sth to Hustini or making elaborated responses. :D
:D

You the visual genius, find me a cool avatar of Berardi that doesn't scream Palermo

No, fighting for a spot is not better. Young players needs to play in order to reach their potential. And your estimation of his playing time is just an opinion based on rumours. He may play some games but he will still be a back-up player. Of course injuries to all of our attackers can also happen but it's not likely.

I'm not saying we shouldn't buy him but if Allegri and Marotta decided that it's better for him to play a significant role in Sassuolo instead off being a bench player here, I think we should trust them on that.

Of course it's all based on nothing and we may as well just buy him in a few days.

Part of Allegri's interview from FI, who quoted Sky apparently

“It’s not that we have to replace Tevez, but rather sign players and evaluate the playing style. Mandzukic has arrived, we have Simone Zaza, Kingsley Coman, Alvaro Morata and Dybala – all young players of great quality.
He didn't say Berardi but mentioned Zaza :scared:

he was playing for 2 seasons now, time for a step up. he has reached his maximum at Sassuolo, to progress further he needs to come to a club where he wil compete and play with other great players. another season at Sassuolo wont help him in reaching his potential IMO. and he will have enough playing time here. he will be competing for 2 spots in the 4-3-1-2, and being a option for 4-3-3 for over 50 games here. if he starts 15-20 games, and enters from the bench in another 20 (which would be very achievable i think) thats still better than the 30-35 games he would be starting for Sassuolo.
and one more thing, why do you automatically assume he would be a backup player? what if Dybala gets injured right at the beginning, or Berardi simply shows himself to either be a better player or suit Allegris system better? it would definitely be better if we get both and let them fight for playing time here

Zaza is done, Berardi is not coming to be the 5th striker.

Our frontline is pretty much done with Morata - Madzukic - Dybala - Zaza.

Coman and Berardi will be loaned out, and we'll possibly get the traditional shitty old ass 5th striker.

Now if we bring anyone else it is for AM and maybe RB.

Well he did mention Zaza which is also not official.

I think actually there's a chance we land Berardi now, only because of Allegri's insisting on him.

If we can't get an AM, it's a possibility. But as of right now it's unlikely he will come this year.

“By the end of the transfer window I could have 10 players in the squad born after 1990."

“We are completing the squad. You can have money to spend, but if the parent clubs don’t want to sell, then you can have €1bn and not get anywhere.

“Will we sign a winger who can play 4-3-3? The last pick could well have those characteristics, yes.”

The way i see it, Zaza is confrmed for juventus, that has been certain for a while now, and perhaps the Berardi part is "beeing worked on"

Meanwhile, did he really have to name every forward ? He probably named the first that came into mind, CAUSE WE GOT LIKE 7 OF THEM
