First half vs Sweden was excellent just for closely observing him, he is very intelligent player who plans what he is gonna do way before he gets the ball. Quick touches, excellent long and short passes (was corious about this, finishing and positioning was evident, but kinda see why he got 10 assists last season, rarely misses an opportunity to play someone open), allways finds a team mate, and is super in tune of space to exploit in counters. First touch shooting technique is insane. They had these corner set ups just for him, where they cross it to him far off outside the box, and he just volleys shots with clean hits, made attempts that should been hard look easy.

He is not particularly great at dribbling past someone when closed down, more of keep the ball and play it off or make a quick decision. Plus doesnt seem particularly strong, or just loves diving too much, did it alot. Also temper was very evident, actually kinda liked it instead of seeing it as a flaw

There's againt that talk of him staying for one more year at Sassuolo.

We didn't have trust in Veratti and now we could make same mistake with Berardi (even if we have straight rights on him).

We call it "being patient with a player", while in essence we're fucking him up. If we don't bring him now I don't think he will ever come.

Probably if he was called Berardinho, we would have already payed 30 million for him and build our attack around him.
