I'm not rating Berardi as much as many others do, yet I must say he's a different class then Zaza. There's nothing special about Zaza, no skill, pace, physique that makes him stand out and get me excited. He's similar to Immobile in this regard. Berardi has great finishing, rather pacy, clinical on set pieces etc..
My point is; both are available for €15m. Zaza will never be worth more then €15m, while Berardi has the potential to become a €30m+ player in the future.
I have to agree.
Just looking at this deal from an economic point of view....ignoring all the good qualities from him.... we MUST buy him at the very least. He is quality and would be sold at a good price.
Strongly disagree here.
I've seen Zaza play well many times even when he didn't score.
He's not only a hardworker, he actually is skilled and has good athleticism.
He's like a Sturaro playing as a forward. At first his hardworking, grinta and athleticism make you overlook technical skills. But they are there.
He's got some great finishes. He can use both legs. He has great movement off the ball. He's actually pretty strong and pacey/acceleration.
Zaza won't become a world beater, but I think he will do good at Juventus. Will be a better option than Llorente was this season, he will strenghten our front depth.
A very good way to summarize him, a sturaro like forward.
He is good, and he would be an upgrade over llorente for sure... but he is 15 mils , the same as berardi''s half?... im not sure
Juves got to buy him, even if they have no plans for him next season. He's too talented. Zaza is another story, although I like his attitude a lot more than berardis.
Berardi is kind anuts, but his value will rise so thats a given we need to buy him.
For those who are using the fact that he is an Interista in your argument against signing him, please stop. Seriously. It is not as if every player who has put on an Juve shirt were a fan of the club.
What does that have to do with his talent? Absolutely nothing. If you are against Juve signing him, use a different reason than where his boyhood allegiances happened to lie.
You could even use the argument that 6 of his goals were scored via a Penalty Kick, and then realize that he earned at least half of those himself.
I think no one is questioning his talent. Its just that his antics on the field..and his offensive attitude towards juve in his younger years left a lot to be desired. yeah, he was a 14 years old yada yada.. but the fact remains.
chiellini was a milan fan
But they were not turds who bashed Juve and were getting reds left and right.
Still, ill be clear on this. Berardi SHOULD be bought, he likes it or not.
