how has he been this year? did he stagnate?
they are less reliant on him this year (read: they play more as a coherent unit instead of a one man team) thus his stats arent impressive but he is important to their style of play and their success

Haven't watched every game of Sassuolo, but in the ones I did, he was extremely vital for their play. Showed playmakers qualities and completed some nice key passes, could've have easily had about two assists in every game I saw of him.

You as well, @Quaglia18 ?
Born in Catanzaro, moved to Canada at 6 years old :) Still follow Catanzaro closely, big 4-2 away from home today keeping Serie B hopes alive!

I watch every Sass game for this reason. Zaza is also meridionale. If Italy split again we would dominate :tuttosport:

Their frontline of Sansone-Zaza-Berardi....epic for such a small team, and very fun to watch. Could/should be the front three for the Italian NT in a few years.
:wth:  :howler: As much as they are decent players and fun to watch, Italy will need to do a lot better than a front three of Zaza, Berardi, and Samsonite if they wish to be competitive

 Gotcha. Let's hope some other talents explode; otherwise, Italy will be in deep shit for a long time. They need to keep that tradition of making the WC final every 12 years going, and that means they need to reach the final in 2018 :donedeal:
