I haven't been able to watch him this season much, but his stats look decent.. 6 goals (3 of which are penalties) and 8 assists in Serie A this season, two assists in the Coppa Italia.
they are less reliant on him this year (read: they play more as a coherent unit instead of a one man team) thus his stats arent impressive but he is important to their style of play and their success
Their frontline of Sansone-Zaza-Berardi....epic for such a small team, and very fun to watch. Could/should be the front three for the Italian NT in a few years.
Haven't watched every game of Sassuolo, but in the ones I did, he was extremely vital for their play. Showed playmakers qualities and completed some nice key passes, could've have easily had about two assists in every game I saw of him.

:wth: As much as they are decent players and fun to watch, Italy will need to do a lot better than a front three of Zaza, Berardi, and Samsonite if they wish to be competitive
But they are pretty much the best Italy has to offer at this current time (in their age group) whether they do well or not is actually irrelevant to the point I was making, dear.
Gotcha. Let's hope some other talents explode; otherwise, Italy will be in deep shit for a long time. They need to keep that tradition of making the WC final every 12 years going, and that means they need to reach the final in 2018
