I'd leave him for one more season at Sass. He pulled some great numbers, but there were plenty of games in between when he wouldn't be good enough, seemed very raw, losing the ball countless of times, failing to control simple pass, misplacing passes, etc.. Seen about 10 games and that's my impression. If he were to come here he needs to be more consistent and mentally ready. I'd hate to see him getting few minutes every now and then, he needs to be protagonist, to challenge Llorente and Tevez for their spots, to rotate with them. Also he seemed more like SS, rather than a winger and I doubt he could be part of attacking trident, Llorente- Tevez- Berardi as few suggested.

The point being made with the two players IN THE SAME SENTENCE is one was given ample playing time and the other SHOULD be given the same amount of chances to work his way into the starting 11 which he could very well do.

It all changed in the 2nd part part of the season and overall he had 37 appearances in all competition, little more than 60 minutes per game. He worked his way through and by the 2nd season he became undisputed starter. That's what Berardi would be facing here, tough competition and very little playing time in the beginning. For that he needs to be mentally ready, not to lose confidence in his abilities if Conte decides to leave him out or send him on the stands and when the opportunity is given to him he needs to seize it, like Pogba. Very difficult.

I hope that he can breakthrough in a similar fashion to Pogba. It's always nice to see one of our young players succeeding at the highest level. If mgt is serious of bringing him back than Conte will need to give him a lot of playing time, otherwise he'll stagnate and we'll be making a mistake. It is wrong if we are to think that he is our saviour and to rely entirely on him. Berardi when brought here will need a lot of support from seniors, sometimes in correcting mistakes on the pitch he's bound to make at this age.

Nah, u have been not enought time in here to say that. Believe me... even with the trolls and everything... the football discussion in this forum are MUCH better now than 7 or 8 years ago.
